Indiana town working day and night for Michael Jackson museum

On Wednesday, Michael Jackson's Father and the mayor of his home town, Gary, Indiana, will e announcing "a major move forward". This move forward will bring a museaum and performance arts center to the city with Michael Jackson's name. The mayor, Rudy Clay, believes the museum will bring in an annual income of $100 million to $150 million and an extimated 500,000 to 750,000 visitors to Gary, Indiana. This will also create lots of construction jobs and more full time jobs to help out unemployment as well. The Jackson family loved in a house in Gary at 2300 Jackson Street from 1950 to 1966. Their house is still a shrine in the community and occasionally a tourist attraction.

I found this story interesting because I really like Michael Jackson and his music. I think this is a great way to remember his life and to help out a community finantially. I hope when this project is complete, there will be many people with new jobs and better living. I also hope to visit the Jackson Family Museum and the Michael Jackson Percforming Arts Center.
